Mommywise Advisory Board
Advisory Board Members are both industry leaders and experienced parents who support families in ways that complement my personal area of expertise. As parents who have devoted their lives to caring for families, we understand that there's strength in numbers, and we support each other, much like we do for you. Here are a few of the professionals who share my mission to care for families like you, with unbiased expertise about health, wellness, clinical and emotional support. Jaqueline Worth, MD
Dr. Jaqueline Worth is a dynamic board certified Ob/Gyn who focuses exclusively on pregnancy and birth. She is an expert in the art of natural birth, VBAC, and her hands have been the first welcoming touch to thousands of newborns. A graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, Dr Worth bridges her first rate education with a respect and interest in holistic care. The ancient wisdom of unhurried birth is combined with modern medicine in the practice she founded, Village Obstetrics. She has taught many medical students and residents and happily collaborates with doulas and midwives. Dr. Worth is a soft spoken, elegant mother of two and a passionate doctor assisting women in achieving natural birth successfully, safely, and with style.
George Mussalli, MD
Dr. George Mussalli is board certified in both Ob/Gyn and Maternal-Fetal Medicine with a high-risk obstetrics sub-speciality training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His work in the Bronx at both Montefiore Medical Center and in the public hospital system where he served as Director of Obstetrics brought experience in the most challenging maternal and fetal disorders. He served as Ob/Gyn Chairman and Residency Program Director at St. Vincent's, training numerous fellows, residents, medical and midwifery students in his career. Dr. Mussalli serves on many committees including expert advisory roles for Lamaze International and BabyCenter.com. His first love however remains working in the labor suite where he has delivered, supervised care and provided high-risk consultation on tens of thousands of patients. He is the founding partner of his private practice Village Obstetrics, whose mission is to restore natural birth, and reduce intervention rates.

Dr. Rachel Frank
is one of Brooklyn's most beloved pediatricians. In addition to parenting her own two kids here in NYC, she practices at Slope
Pediatrics with Amy Glaser, MD, in Park Slope, where she shares the challenges and joys of raising children with many Brooklyn parents. In her practice and with her own two young
children, she is striving to achieve the goal of healthy children with happy
parents. She's a wealth of information, and my "go-to" MD for practical, clinical, and level-headed advice. To learn more about Rachel and her practice, visit Slope Pediatrics or call 718-636-0019 to schedule an appointment.

issues. Her specialty is in helping people to develop effective

from self-destructive behavior patterns. She is an active member of the
Women’s Mental Health Consortium,
and gracefully glides between her private practice in Chelsea and her
role as a mother of two. Kathy's clinical expertise and intimate

Beth Donnelly Caban, Childbirth Educator, Prenatal Yoga Instructor, Labor Doula & Midwife-to-Be
Beth is my go-to resource for NYC's most comprehensive childbirth education and newborn care courses, as well as prenatal yoga, natural childbirth, and doula support. An industry leader in all of these fields, Beth is also an experienced mom, with a caring, supportive, gentle approach to helping new moms achieve their childbirth and fitness goals, before and after their babies are born. To add to her comprehensive childbirth expertise, Beth will soon become a practicing midwife. To learn more about Beth, including class schedules, visit Beth at Beth Caban.
Sara Frohlich, L.Ac., Acupuncturist & Chinese Medical Practitioner
Sara's practice is designed to care for women before, during, and after childbirth, and to feel like a spa. Acupuncture during pregnancy is a safe, drug-free way to compliment fertility treatments, alleviate common pregnancy-related symptoms, and treat carpel-tunnel syndrome. But here's another tip I learned from Sara: routine prenatal acupuncture treatments starting at 36 weeks significantly reduce inductions and medical intervention during childbirth, and is an invaluable resource for reducing new-mom anxiety. Jennifer DeLuca, Pilates Pioneer and Owner of Body-Tonic
Founder of NYC's original Pilates studios, and mom of two, Jennifer is committed to mind/body balance and teaches expectant and enjoys educating new moms about how to use their bodies to prepare for delivery, and heal the postpartum belly through core strengthening. She also organizes getaways for families where yoga and Pilates classes are integrated into relaxing, tropical retreats.
